Resources
of
the United States
The United States of America was built upon the resources provided by the land. In the earliest days, people were in awe of the richness the Americas had to offer. The conversation started with spreading the news of the fertile lands and the discovery of metals and minerals. Inevitably, the rhetoric began to morph into how to use these resources. How could they be used for an advantage? What did they have to offer? Again, with growth of knowledge, the United States began expanding on its ideas on how to use these resources. Every year provides new topics of conversation as to how to take advantage of our resources and make the United States even better, and it will continue to change as our intelligence advances. Despite this, there is one constant conversation regarding resources: their decline. Resources have always been a topic of stress because technology can't provide all the means necessary to reach the resource or the resource is rapidly disappearing, creating a scramble to find a replacement. This lack of resources has been a constant; the solutions to this issue have created much controversy. The US will continue to expand its knowledge of resources, but helping save them will be continual.
