Destitute Mother
The migrant worker suffered greatly in the Great Depression, along with the families he worked to support. It was during this most trying time that the Dream began to fade. This destitute mother tirelessly takes care of her children and wishes above all else that they could live in prosperity and go to school, elements missing from their current situation. The American Dream was tested, but the resilience of our nation overcame these obstacles to reinstate the Dream for generations to come.
