Apple ii
This was a very popular computer for schools to have as it became what is arguably known as Apple's most successful computer. The first time these computers were pushed into schools was with the Minnesota Education Computing Consortium, Apple would supply 500 computers for Minnesota. The MECC had already developed educational software for the Apple II and it became popular around the country. University of Phoenix Online Schooling
In 1989 the University of Phoenix launched the nations first "online campus" to offer bachelor's and master's degrees. This made secondary and post-secondary education more widely available to the public. The UoP's main goal was to offer another outlet to students that may not have had the opportunity or the funds to attend regular college, so they would still be able to receive the education they needed.
